Atteists Seek To Ban Prayer

An area atheist has announced a campaign to ban prayer, claiming that it is of no benefit and the net gain of prayer on a national level is negative.

Instead of prayer, he suggested that people should support his adopted goals;

  • Decriminalize drugs to reduce drug addiction
  • Reduce teen pregnancy by increasing the freedom of the media to portray sex among youngsters
  • Reduce knife crime by increasing the freedom of the media to portray violence as manly, exciting, truly exciting
  • Promote peace by extending the freedom of people to do whatever they want, as long as it's approved

Thomas Johns further went on to explain that the growing influence of secularist humanism is the reason why people are feeling safer in their homes, on the streets and on their bank's websites.
