Professor Thomas Johns has further enraged local theists by condemning the Church of England in praying for the unemployed.
He said that the prayers were insulting the unemployed by describing them as worried and confused and suggested that a better solution would be to increase state benefits and lower the price of Cable TV.
We asked a local unemployed man what he thought of the prayers but he said he was too worried about his rent and confused as to what he could now do about his situation.
